She focuses her expertise on identifying the right balance between policies and procedures with growth and innovation. This approach ensures a solid culture of internal controls while capitalizing on opportunities for growth and longevity in realizing an institution’s full potential.
Ashley joined HORNE in 2004 and has more than 10 years of specialized expertise with financial institutions through analyzing and advising on strategic goals and assisting in all aspects of financial accounting and internal controls over financial reporting. Additionally, she guides clients through the complex accounting issues while building processes that will grow with the bank well into the future.
Ashley has extensive experience working with financial institutions in growing their unique brand while ensuring that the strategic goals and concerns of shareholders, regulators and key stakeholders continue to be met. Her experience includes building specialized policies and internal controls monitoring processes, mortgage banking, fair value accounting, and business combinations. Ashley’s experience spans both public and private companies.
Ashley earned her Bachelor of Business Administration in Accountancy from Freed Hardeman University. She is a graduate of the Southeastern School of Banking and serves on the Financial Institution’s committee of the Tennessee Society of Certified Public Accountants.Professional Affiliations
