The key to helping our clients succeed is to always approach each client relationship with a strong vested interest in them, above everything else. Sometimes, that means counseling a client to pass on an opportunity. For example, I am often asked to assist clients in evaluating locations they may be considering acquiring. Occasionally, the best course of action is to pass on the potential acquisition, and we work hard to educate and guide the client toward the wisest course of action.
I treat each client's business as if it were my own, giving it my full attention and effort as we provide a complete outsourced solution for their accounting, tax, and consulting needs. HORNE becomes an integral part of their team and our role transcends the typical client-CPA relationship, which is really satisfying.
I value the time I am allowed to spend with my immediate and extended family. I have been so fortunate to spend my career based in the small town where I grew up, and most of my family is located nearby. My wife, our two daughters and I enjoy getting to frequently see our extended families.
In addition to my family time, my passion is the outdoors. I take every opportunity to spend time in outdoor activities of all kinds.
