Greg is a partner in the healthcare practice group of HORNE LLP and concentrates his practice in consulting on income distribution plans for physician group practices; design, implementation and fair market value studies related to hospital/physician employment and other compensation arrangements; and the valuation of medical practices, hospitals, diagnostic facilities, ambulatory surgery centers and other healthcare facilities.
He has served on the faculty of programs by the National Association of Certified Valuators and Analysts, the Healthcare Compliance Association, the National CPA Healthcare Advisors Association, the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the American Health Lawyers Association. He has presented topics on healthcare valuation, physician compensation and physician self-referral regulation to local and regional chapters of organizations such as the Medical Group Management Association and the Healthcare Financial Management Association. He is co-author of The Financial Professional’s Guide to Healthcare Reform (John Wiley and Sons, Inc., 2012), a contributing author of BVR/AHLA Guide to Healthcare Industry Compensation and Valuation (Business Valuation Resources, 2012), The BVR/AHLA Guide to Healthcare Valuation, Third Edition (Business Valuation Resources, 2012), and Fourth Edition (Business Valuation Resources, 2016), Health Law Handbook (Thomson Reuters/West, 2010 and 2014), and BVR’s Guide to Physician Practice Valuation (Business Valuation Resources, 2010); a co-author of Valuation of a Medical Practice (John Wiley and Sons, Inc., 1999); and has authored and co-authored articles on physician compensation, healthcare valuation and regulatory matters in local and regional periodicals.
Greg is a graduate of the University of Southern Mississippi. He is a Certified Public Accountant Accredited in Business Valuation and a Certified Valuation Analyst.Professional Affiliations
