Ivana is a manager in government services at HORNE LLP where she is responsible for performing capacity assessments for potential stakeholders in the planning, design and implementation of federal programs. She also helps develop the guidelines for Economic Development Assistance programs and works with local state agencies to provide advisory services.
Ivana joined the firm in 2018 with previous experience as a senior program manager with the Governor’s Office of Storm Recovery in which she implemented and managed the Community Development Block Grant – Disaster Recovery (CDBG-DR) Infrastructure and Community Reconstruction Programs to ensure successful program development and project implementation for local municipalities, state agencies and civic association engagement. She worked with local municipalities during the implementation of projects ensuring federal compliance, project management, QA/QC on federal reporting, oversight on deliverables and providing guidance for large scale infrastructure projects. She also helped develop the agency’s Monitoring and Compliance Department and the Diversity and Civil Rights Office to implement policies and procedures for Minority and Women Business Enterprises, Section 3, Fair Housing, and Equal Employment Opportunity.
Ivana earned a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Hunter College of the City University of New York. She also received a Master of Arts in Economics from City College of the City University of New York. She is certified in OSHA Construction Safety and Health, Data Science, and Debt Sustainability. Ivana is a certified Project Management Professional.
