Kade Moody CPA, FHFMA, CHFP

Kade Moody is the managing partner for Healthcare at HORNE. Kade has also served multiple terms as a member of HORNE’s Board of Directors and was a charter member of the Firm’s Belonging at HORNE Steering Committee, with the focus of creating a sense of belonging across the Firm. Kade leads in client service with a focus on relationships and the key traits of providing financial integrity and strategic vision.

Kade joined HORNE in 2002 after beginning his career with an international accounting firm. He has more than 30 years of experience in public accounting providing assurance and advisory services to governmental, nonprofit, and tribal organizations, as well as large, privately-held corporations. Kade leverages his broad experience to provide anticipatory insights critical to the financial transformation of the healthcare industry and leads conversations necessary for the exploration of what the future of healthcare should be in rural geographies. Kade is focused on ensuring integrity in financial reporting, effective oversight of managed care programs and compliance and accountability with federal regulations over funding streams, such as COVID, TANF, and other public assistance funding targeted at addressing social determinants of health and health equity. Kade believes in creating accountability over the use, quality and measurable impact of those valuable resources.  Kade also has extensive experience with complex financing arrangements and the uniqueness of health system financial reporting. Kade uses his experience to help navigate complex situations and produce solutions.

Kade earned his Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of Southern Mississippi. He is also a Certified Public Accountant, a Fellow of the Healthcare Financial Management Association and a Certified Healthcare Financial Professional.
