When federal, state, or local governments need assistance, we have the ability and expertise to proactively solve problems, anticipate need, and provide needed resources. This ensures that our governmental clients and the citizens needing assistance are dealt with as valued customers, not simply a number. Whether the need is as large as recovery from a natural disaster or grant compliance, our Government Services team provides the expertise necessary to leave our clients better off than when we met them. Through innovative technology, our business process experts, and a highly trained and mobile staff, we always seek a win-win situation for both the client and customer.
Having an up close and personal understanding of the devastation of Hurricane Katrina, I know the impact that disaster recovery programs can have in helping those who can do little to help themselves. Many of the members of our team have been directly affected by tragic storms. The empathy HORNE brings to a project shows in how we go about treating applicants and delivering programs with focus and skill. What I personally bring to the table includes managing large organizations to achieve results. Having led multiple projects that were geared toward revitalizing the Mississippi Gulf Coast in the aftermath of Hurricanes Katrina, Dolly and Ike, including multi and single family housing, elderly housing and homeless shelters, I understand of the hurdles communities have to face, as well as the ins and outs of government operations.
I value my faith, my family, and the positive impact I can have on those most in need. My volunteer time and donations are given primarily to faith-based organizations and supporting missionaries in Papua New Guinea. I strive to get engaged on making an impact on both my immediate community and the needy far and wide. My free time is spent with my wife, Avery, as we raise our three young children.
