Whitney is a government services manager for HORNE LLP. She works closely with state agencies and primarily focuses on governmental compliance and monitoring oversight. She has worked with various funding sources and their applicable financial requirements which include FEMA Public Assistance and Direct Housing, CDBG-DR, and USDA Food and Nutrition Programs. Additional areas of Whitney’s experience include program management, financial oversight, audit preparation, regulatory compliance with federal regulations, including 2 CFR Part 200, and the Stafford Act and all applicable State and other federal laws.
Whitney joined HORNE in 2012 with more than 5 years of previous experience with a construction management firm where she worked on projects including the FEMA trailer maintenance and installation, and the Mississippi Gulf Oil Spill project.
Whitney earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with an emphasis in accounting from Mississippi College and a Master of Public Accountancy from The University of Southern Mississippi.
